The 1990 Institute
The 1990 Institute’s mission is to champion fair and equitable treatment for Asian Americans and a constructive U.S.-China relationship through leadership, education, and collaboration. The Institute provides educational information to all Americans, specifically to youth in the Bay Area, on the root causes of discrimination against the AAPI community. By understanding how the past affects the present and future, we seek to create real positive change. Our youth are our future and we believe that a focus on teachers and students will help improve American society and the lives of AAPIs in America.
