Jenny Leung

Executive Director, Chinese Culture Center and Foundation of San Francisco

Jenny Leung is the current Executive Director of the Chinese Culture Center and Foundation of San Francisco (CCC). She has dedicated her career to cultural diversity, equity, arts access and community building, with a deep belief in the transformative power of arts to effect change and civic engagement. Under her leadership, Jenny has navigated the organization through the pandemic, doubled the size of the staff team, and anchored the institutional vision in cross-racial solidarity and anti-Asian hate. Her over decade of leadership experience in the San Francisco Chinatown community has built successful cross-sector community partnerships and championed the importance of arts and community with funders in government and philanthropy. Born and raised in Hawaii by immigrant parents, she holds a Masters degree in Asian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and Bachelors from the University of Washington. Jenny also serves as Chair of the Programs Committee for the Chinatown Media and Arts Collaborative; Co-Chair for the Chinatown Arts and Culture Coalition, and on the Board of Directors for the API Council. She is a Getty Leadership Institute NextGen Fellow 2017.
