La Comida de California
La Comida de California is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving Palo Alto area seniors a nutritious, delicious meal each weekday; providing a nurturing environment in which they can commune and build friendships; and contributing to their inclusion and belonging. They believe in compassion, personal health, equity, and equality for seniors, and in reducing the reality of seniors being food insecure. To help create a more health-centric society, including nutrition and positive mental health, to alleviate isolation and depression. They do this by continuing to provide healthy meals, resources, and a warm environment each weekday.
