Now more than ever, Bay Area Asians and Pacific Islanders need support to not only survive but thrive in these uncertain times as they confront new and emerging needs:

• Anti-Asian and anti-immigrant hate incidents are at the highest levels they’ve been since the year after 9/11
• There has been an increase in bullying of API youth simply for being Asian
• API community members are afraid to access services they need like medical care, food stamps, and domestic violence hotlines, for fear of being detained by immigration authorities
